A few positive statements from fans of Lungs of a Giant. "These Brooklynites are making great rock that is supposed to be classified as indie. Each song takes a completely different turn. I have been told comparisons to Yo La Tengo, Pavement, and Low are in order. And maybe at some increments yes that can be said as true. Yet take the song “Reciprocity”, which takes a great turn with droned out drumming and low-fi vocals. It creates a terrific soothed out effect that might lurk back to Spacemen 3 or even forward to The Warlocks. Then you have “Non Hip Iceberg” with its upbeat sweat/pop vocals." You guys fucking rock- I was trying to think of my favorite member- but couldn't: drums, bass, keyboard, and the double trouble team of Hannah and Paul- fuck each member is so key to the overall sound and it blends so fucking well.
