LOAG detonated copious tears on April 30 for
Uncle Joe's!
(which closed unexpectedly a week after our show)
and for Sick Passengers (their last show).
Actually we weren't crying at the show for Uncle Joe's because its demise was so sudden.
But still, the weird karma was evident.
And financially lucrative for LOAG!

LOAG
gleefully recombined forces w/Dave the Spazz and The Collisions (sounding even hotter!)
at Magnetic Field on March 26.
This show featured a new setlist by LOAG which almost burned out all working excitatory synapses.
That's a good thing.

LOAG heeded the call to rock out last minute at
Opaline
with DENTISTDENTISTA (formerly Nimbus) on January 24.
This show was our first with Ted on DD's drums and Erin and Emily on their backup vocals.
We also traded spit when we used DD's equipment.
But they don't know, so don't tell them.

LOAG
clicked with El Jezel at Siberia on January 13.
We liked them.
Especially when they covered The Cure's 'Disintegration' with so much panache.

LOAG opened up its presents with extra sexy xmas
Nimbus at Magnetic Field.
Eggnogging kabobing, indeed.
December 18 was a giddy time.
Bobby Cocktail spread the cheer and Liz had her last show with Nimbus.

LOAG went
ga-ga at Magnetic Field w/Dave the Spazz and Boston's The Collisions.
This October 16 show was our virgin gig with this combination
and we all felt quite attached to each other afterwards.
In 2005 this same selection of A-list headliners supported our humble act.

LOAG
escaped Siberia entact with Nimbus, The Sw!ms, and Okay Paddy.
Eventually the night ended. But not before the basement was engulfed in a rock firestorm
the likes of which ye had not yet seen until September 25.
We love our PA sister bands!

LOAG was Wild, Wild, Wild! on the stage of
Sin-e back on August 3.
Other bands had both nipple rings and their parents in the audience.
We had neither. But we still tore it all up with our newest song "Gene Autry Deathmask."
It was a Tuesday night, so we weren't even looking for that much.

LOAG rained down the wet and cold rock to a meager but hearty hollerin' crowd
back there on June 17 at
Trash (formerly Luxx).
The Sick Passengers sold their newest record afterwards
and throroughly whupped Paul and Chris at a pool game hustle.

LOAG premiered its mug at
CBGB's on June 10
in the downstairs next-door venue called CBGB's Lounge.
Nice place, comfy sofas, wow sound. You should come along next time.
Restrooms are down there. )))>

LOAG and
Nimbus wrought a fine dust of Chaotic Good charm
over the rabid folks in the crowd of Magnetic Field on May 22

LOAG eats potatoes at
Luna Lounge on May 7.
Remember this one? Well, it was a Friday night. And LOAG opened up
and got very tender and charming. Solos got wicked hott and sweaty.

LOAG found a gorgeous new soundhall at
The Hook in Brooklyn on Thursday, April 8.
Also in attendance on stage and in the audience:
Hopewell and The Caulfield Sisters.
If music were apples these would be infused with veins of carmel and feverishly devoured.
Thursday, April 8th came off like bottlerockets cooked in Balsamic Vinegar.
More food metaphors available at our next show.

LOAG loafed on the sofas at
Luna Lounge with Pete Shelly for an hour.
Or was it just an incredibly delicious fantasy?
Also: the Thursday, March 25th crowd enlisted Icy Hot Stuntaz.

Green light: GO! ...Red light: Shh! ...Green light: GO! ...Red light...
you get the point.
But honestly:
Freddy's is like playing at your favorite uncle's back deck in Brooklyn, PA.
Saturday, March 13th was our first show with Erin on bass!

LOAG rises
phoenix-like from the rock ashes to smote the fans of Magnetic Field yet again!
Nimbus tore it up for a night of debauchery and mayhem
celebrating MF's 1st year birthday.

LOAG vs.
Nimbus vs. Chowtime
vs. Big-game hunting video games meant only one thing:
Magnetic Field Day!
Remember June 7th? First, it rained. Then: it didn't matter.
The boom-boom-boom? Ted's last show? Andy wigging out the tunetables?
Nimbus cranking out a new song and wrestling that gooseneck mikestand thingee?
Even the ghosts kick up a dance storm system.

LOAG freed up a
big FREE big gig at Knitting Factory. Free.
We did the vinyl 7-inch split "single" record release show with La Pieta.
Saturday night. May 24th. Punks got in fleas.
Even the neighbors asked us to turn up the volume.

LOAG showed jumbo-flavored
affection for sister band Nimbus
at Magnetic Field in Brooklyn on May 10th
for what turned out to be the first of a late Spring 2003 double-headed LOAGNIMBUS beast.
Those who attended brightly were rewarded with the Icy Hott.

LOAG looked
sinister indeed at Southpaw in Park Slope, Brooklyn
on Friday, April 25th with
fellow sound wave throwers: the vouchable Hula,
the Village-Voiced Elk City and the unmasked She Sus.

LOAG played nice with The Sick Passengers and Bisexual Wrestling
on Friday night, March 14th
at The Local Bar (Rock Star Bar) on Kent St in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
LOAG formed like a Minuteman Voltron at the drop of a bowler.

Lakeside Lounge had a nice, cozy, ringing feel to it.
We were there Tuesday, February 4th for an intimate Tinnitus show.
So close you can smell it.

Freddy's, was pleased to meet the LOAG audience.
on Saturday, January 25, 2003.
Even though we missed Greg due to the evil terror of Vomitting Sickness
We still hogtied the patrons of Freddy's
And left most everyone's ears cleaner than ever before.

Southpaw, in Park Slope, Brooklyn, lumped some 'rock tea' with LOAG.
Kudos to Low-Beam for opening this Thursday show.
For helping us trash our first 'Green Room.'

January 7, 2003 (Tuesday) found our heroes at
Knitting Factory (in the very downstairs, other Alterknit Theatre)
This was LOAG's premiere at The Knitting Factory.
A Big-Rock-Thanks-Again to Hula and The Sems.
(Sorry about the snowball in the face after the show)

Meow Mix made Lungs of a Giant growl on November 23rd (Saturday), 2002.
With La Pieta, The Parting Gift, and Nurse and Soldier.

La Pieta and LOAG equal a whole lotta lovin'.
Pray to the gods of Christmas Past for a new split 7" single
which we recorded with the very winsome La Pieta.

Sell your stun clocks on eBay:
November 14th, Thursday, found LOAG at
Luna Lounge
at a sweet-spot time for listening to the new classics.
Video taken by Dan Blank has really helped LOAG stay in the game.
Hula opened for us, and we plan on returning the favor in January.

Shirts ahoy!
What's this?
A t-shirt designed by James Kochalka Superstar,
...and... WORN by the same James Kochalka Superstar?
At a big fancy Comic Book Convention!?
In front of hundreds of folks with cash in their hands!?
Only in Ed's wildest erotic dreams was
this ever conceived.

Shhhh!
LOAG made sense of the
Galapagos back-room stage
on Wednesday August 28th at 12am, midnight.
Also performing that evening:
The Styrenes at 8:30pm and The Blam at 11pm.
This place has swell digs too.
Pools of water, tropical plants, maybe some pirates.
Maybe a Giant Tortoise.

A big
huzzah to Jersey City's Uncle's Joe's for the August 16th show.
And an even bigger kablammo! to The Mometers,
for their gracious invite, many talents, and infinite kindness.
NJ also digs Joss.

Man, it was a dark, strange and sweaty night,
full of blasts-from-past at
Luna Lounge on Thursday July 18th
LOAG took what stage was left over --with Alablaster and Of Earth gear crowding around us.
But still, go ahead and visit the Luna Lounge website
Cuz LOAG is a VIP there now --on 'The List.'

Lungs of a Giant stokes the BBQ fires at this "in-tents" concert.
Much footage, body-bowling, PA humidity and sunny Jello shots.
Nicole Zmuda runs a sultry, caliente outdoor party.

Lungs of a Giant conspired on
Wednesday, May 29th
at
The Charleston, on Bedford Ave in Brooklyn
to ignite "The LOAG Alliance presents
An Evening of Rock 'n' Jollificated Revelry"
starting things off with
(the East Coast touring fiends)
The Sick Passengers,
(yours truly) Lungs of a Giant, and
(the most incredible) Nimbus from Scranton, PA.
You did not miss this show.

Four Faggots and a Lesbian did rock rock rock you
at
Meow Mix, NYC
on Sunday May 26th
with La Pieta and Deer Park.

Luna Lounge had us ring in May 2nd
with a gutload of surprises from our song bag.
Sofaslicious.

The April 24th edition of
An Eveningtime Spent at Rock 'n' Jollificated Revelry
at
The Charleston
featured the Electrickflying Lys Guillorn, LOAG,
and the far, far, keep going...
... aaaand about.... there!-- far-out folks known as
The Mometers.
April got showered all at once on Wednesday.

Lungs of a Giant punched in
at Arlene Grocery on April 17, 2002. Wicked!
This was our last show with Andy
As he's devoting more time to his meth lab.

Lungs of a Giant amazed themselves
at
The Charleston in Brooklyn on March 27, 2002.
The High Seas opened up new universes
with their controversial "SuperString Theory."
This was the first go at
The LOAG Alliance's
Evening of Rock 'n' Jollificated Revelry.

Lungs of a Giant served up some yummies
at Brownies on March 24th, 2002.
The crowds also oohed and aahed
Zero Zero, Certainly, Sir,
and Folksongs For The Afterlife.

Lungs of a Giant fed your ears
at Luna Lounge on Sunday night, February 10, 2002.
We missed Andy (currently recovering his own lungs),
but we wowed the crowd
with our new song entitled "The Killing Song".

LOAG perplexed the kids (see here) at Khyber Pass
in Philadelphia on Friday, Nov 23rd with Lefty's Deceiver
and Natural History, and The Jane Anchor.
Philadelphia Weekly seems to have this to say about us:
"Rock 'n' roll like you've never heard it.
And if you haven't heard it you ought to be ashamed."

Lungs of a Giant needs your opinion regarding its newest CD e.p.
Sleepy Fields.
Sleepy Fields songs and lyrics are now available
for your downloading and uplistening pleasure.
Click here for MP3s and Click here for Lyrics.

LOAG used gizmos to make music at
the Rockstar/Local/Ship's Mast bar
on a spooky Saturday, under the Williamsburg Bridge.
Many thanks to The Sick Passengers and The Mometers.

We tore up the Rockstar/Local Bar in Williamsburg on Oct 13th.
Thanks for coming. Soak those eardrums.

LOAG finished its new Xmas song ("Xmas Xing")
for the next
My Pal God Record winter holiday song compilation.

Lungs of a Giant played the "Wild Rumpus" benefit in June
at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center
for a subsequent Here Theater production.
Thanks to the kids with fans (shown here) who put together the event,
Henry Kantel & chanteuse, all the puppeteers, and The Contrarians.

We successfully made noise for an outdoor wedding
on a lighthouse beach in Connecticut on a sunset Friday in June.
Thanks to everyone who welcomed our skronk --mosquitoes not included.

Thanks to WPRB Princeton Radio 103.3 fm
for broadcasting our 'live-in-the-studio' hard-lemonadey efforts.
Many blessings on the house of DJ Jon "Total Tyrant" Solomon.

We played Luna Lounge back on May 1st, 2001 and it was good.
Our sound was hot and the kids were nice and mellow in their sofa seats.
And Greg made his premiere with the band at this show. Yeah Greg!

Concert footage for the 2nd Acme Underground show
used to be available at MusicTV.com.
Looks like they didn't have a viable business plan.
Here is what MusicTV.com critics had to say about LOAG:
"Extra fine modern rock ensemble that has lively spirit and very cool songs.
With that ultimate alternative rock sound,
the group blends the exotic and experimental keyboards
with alternative rhythms and delightful vocals."

In February we played Brownies during a sudden snowstorm
which dropped a foot of snow on the NYC area in 12 hours.
We were pleased with how well it all turned out.

Photos from the first Acme show (1/8/01)
are just a click away from your viewscreen!
